Calgary/Seoul Coca-Cola Ltd. (Canada) Olympic Pins – 1988
Long forgotten in an attic, these genuine Olympics pins were recently found and I am the recipient of this “Bulk Collection” of Pins through an inheritance.
“Coca-Cola (Canada) developed the largest mascot set by utilizing Hidy and Howdy in each sport with male and female participation. Produced in 1” domed etch-plate, slight variations in colors may be noted by collectors as the pins were produced in three runs.”1
These pins, in the original plastic pouches were never handled or traded and are in mint condition. Produced/minted by Laurie Artiss Co. for Coca-Cola Ltd. Canada, the Calgary and Seoul Olympic pin collections were withdrawn from circulation at the close of these events.
With the Vancouver 2010 Games rapidly approaching; this would be a great opportunity for any serious pin collector/distributor to add this valuable asset to his/her collection/inventory. I also have a variety of bulk miscellaneous pins offered @ no cost with "Lot"purchase.
